Contacting Colleagues

How do I contact colleagues once I arrive in San Diego?

It is recommended that you exchange contact information with colleagues prior to leaving for the annual convention. ISA staff do not have a list of where participants are staying, but we have provided the contact info for the host hotel and overflow hotels on our website. We will also provide physical message boards located in the Grand Foyer of the Town & Country, where you can leave a message for your colleagues, paper and pins will be provided. New this year, we are offering an online message board service located here. The online message board is an experiment to see how an online system might complement or eventually replace the paper and pin system.

I'd be cautious about converting over to a computer-based system. Some of us (still) don't lug computers around at conferences.

Thank you for your comment. We are indeed being cautious and introducing this online message system as an experiment and will be monitoring how the members receive it. It may well be that having both physical message boards and an online alternative will help us to accommodate the technological comfort level of our diverse membership.

Computer Availability
Yes, there will be computers available in the exhibition hall, these are for checking e-mail only. If you need more access, the hotel business office offers computers and internet connection for a modest fee, there is also a wireless network at the hotel, also a pay for use service. You can by a day pass at the hotel front desk.
